Jay-Z’s 40/40 sports club in Las Vegas will be closing down to be replaced by a race and sports betting site.
As part of the new plan the space and its surrounding area will feature a restaurant as well as a large-scale race and sports center.
President and chief operating officer of the Palazzo, Rob Goldstein, said “By adding a complete gaming component to an already distinctive 24,000 square-foot space we will be able to create a very unique environment for our guests.”

Superbowl Champ Michael Strahan and his ex-wife have come to a conclusion with the his divorce settlement money…
Giants great Michael Strahan and his ex-wife, Jean, have settled their legal battle over how big a slice of his fortune she should get. But a fight over how much child support he must pay will continue after an appeals court decided the $214,745 a year ordered by a trial judge is too high. The Strahans’ agreement on division of assets was sealed by the court, and their lawyers refused to divulge the details.
The retired football star was ordered in January to fork over $15.3 million to his ex-wife - but he only coughed up about half and filed an appeal on the rest. Jean Strahan’s lawyer, Ellen Marshall, said her client was pleased with the outcome. “I feel happy that the Strahans were able to resolve their difference and focus on their children,” Marshall said. “I think they set an example for other couples.”
The agreement, though, isn’t the end of a dispute full of bitter accusations of physical abuse, infidelity, wild spending and even charges that Strahan used a hidden camera to peep on one of Jean’s sisters.
A New Jersey appeals court reversed a lower court ruling that ordered Strahan to pay almost 20% of his annual income in child support for their 4-year-old twins. The panel questioned some of the expenses Jean Strahan listed, including $27,000 a year for clothes, $36,000 a year for “equipment and furnishings” and $3,000 for audio-visual expenses. The court also felt the amount should be lower because Jean Strahan is capable of getting a job and told the trial judge to reconsider the figure. “Mr. Strahan was gratified with the result and feels his legal position has been vindicated,” said his lawyer Angelo Genova.

O.J. Simpson recently duked it out with his daughter Arnelle(left) over his girlfriend Christie(right)…
Cops rushed to the Florida home of O.J. Simpson after his eldest daughter knocked him to the ground in a brawl over his girlfriend Christie Prody, sources said. “Arnelle had a fight with Christie over Christie’s behavior. That’s what started the whole thing. Christie has some problems with drinking, and Arnelle got mad. O.J. said ‘Don’t talk to her like that,’ and Arnelle pushed him.”
The source said Arnelle, 39, called 911 in a fit of guilt after she toppled the 61-year-old on Sunday, giving him a minor head injury.
he police report does not mention O.J.’s fall, but the National Enquirer, which first reported the row, quoted a source saying O.J. was “cut on the back of his head, blood was coming out the side of his mouth and his lip was cut.” The Enquirer said Arnelle was furious with O.J. for dishing out money to Prody, 32, while his high school sweetheart - Arnelle’s mom, Marguerite Whitley - has to work at WalMart to make ends meet. Arnelle also lashed out at OJ for “ditching” Whitley to marry Nicole Brown Simpson, the Enquirer reported. O.J. was acquitted of Nicole’s murder in 1995. Two years later, a civil jury found him “responsible” for the killing. “It wasn’t a big deal,” the source said of Sunday’s scuffle. “He wasn’t all cut up.” The police report says the altercation ended when Arnelle agreed to leave O.J.’s house “in order to let things calm down.”
