Who would have ever guessed that a boy from Marcy Projects and a girl from the Lone Star State would grow to be Forbes’ power couple for 2008…
Jay-Z and Beyonce are Hollywood’s Top-Earning Couple, according to Forbes.com, raking in an evenly split $162 million between them from June 1, 2007 and June 1, 2008.
“Naturally, powerful people tend to gravitate toward other powerful people,” clinical psychologist and celebrity researcher Jim Houran tells Forbes.com. Which explains couples like Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman, David and Victoria Beckham, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, and Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner.
But none of those were couples in the Top 5, which is rounded out by Will and Jada Pinkett Smith ($85 million), David and Victoria Beckham ($58 million), Tim McGraw and Faith Hill ($35 million), and Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie ($34 million), the latter of whom will need every penny to raise their family of six kids.
