“Jennifer Hudson and her family are offering a reward of $100,000 for the safe return of her nephew Julian King who has been missing since Friday, October 24th. We ask that all inquiries be directed to the Chicago Police Department, Area 1 Detective Division at 312/747-8380. Jennifer and her family appreciate the enormous amount of love, support and prayers they have received while she and her family try to cope with this tragedy and continue the search for Julian.”
Our hearts go out to Jennifer and her family. We can’t imagine what they are going through but we can only pray for the better. The suspect of killing Jennifer Hudson’s family members is currently in custody.

Police sources have confirmed that William Balfour, the suspect in the shooting deaths of Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Hudson’s mother and brother, has been taken into police custody. However, Julian King, Hudson’s 7-year-old nephew who was taken from the murder scene, is still missing. Sources say Balfour has refused to provide information on King’s location. No charges have been filed.
According to the Illinois Department of Corrections, Balfour, 27, is on parole. He spent nearly seven years in prison for attempted murder, vehicular hijacking and possessing a stolen vehicle.

OMG!!!! Words cannot describe how I am feeling right about now. Death is something we all must experience at some time in our life; however, when its your MOTHER and a SIBLING at one time, its even harder to fathom. Imagine how her sister must feel right about now; she just lost her mother/brother and her CHILD is missing. If ANYONE reading this lives in the area and knows of SOMEONE closely related, PLEASE CALL THE AUTHORITIES!!!!! In one day, this woman’s life has been torn apart and regardless of how much fame/fortune she has - it will never replace what she just lost. I truly hope Julian is returned home safely; because if not, there isn’t a rock/mountain/cave big enough to hide the person responsible.

this story is soooo unbelievable, it seems like its not real….I cant imagine how Jennifer Hudson & her family feel, she lost her mother & brother at the same time….I’d have to murder that mutha****a, we’d be in jail together cause his ass would have to go….I heard they found the truck & that it look the lil boy was tortured…

my heart is trul broken…this is a ****ed up place we live in when somebody can kill whole families just to make one person hurt…now that poor woman has to live without her mother, brother and son just because that bastard of a husband was mad that she aint want him anymore
they found the SUV and a young black male body that fits Lil Julian description– they towed the truck w/the body inside. (evidence/Dna/CSI) DUDE SHOULD GO TO HELL WITH GASOLINE DRAWLS ON. 3 MURDERS!! I WONDER IF SOMEONE ELSE WAS INVOLVED.

dang, I lost my grandmother and my uncle almost, exactly within a month apart, one expected, the other not. but she lost her mom, bro and nephew within a weekend. I could imagine what she’s going through right now, bit it’s hitting her sister even more cause she lost her own child. my prayers are with their family to give them strength through out this. I’ve been following the story and it really hurts my heart to see something like this take place. :(
also, I think the reward should’ve been offered the day the lil boy disappeared. maybe things would’ve changed just a lil, but when something like this happens sometimes you’re numb and you just can’t think straight. but I hope J-hud isn’t thinking this. the should’ve, could’ve, would’ve of this tragedy!
