50 Cent’s ex-girlfriend and 10-year-old son were rescued from an inflammed Long Island home early Friday.
According to New York Newsday, the fire was reported to authorities around 5 am and six people who were inside the house were rushed to a nearby hospital suffering from smoke inhalation. Among the six people rescued included 50 Cent’s ex-girlfriend, Shaniqua Tompkins, and their 10-year-old son, Marquise.
Dix Hills fire Department Chief Larry Feld believes that the fire was started deliberately.
Feld said “I would say there is a strong, a strong, strong possibility that it is suspiciousâ€.
As we recall, Shaniqua Tompkins recently sued 50 Cent, claiming he had promised her the $2.4 million house. A judge ordered the month of three to vacated the mansion next month.
Shortly after the story broke out on the Internet, she released statements accusing the Hip Hop mogul of orchestrating the five-alarm blaze that nearly killed her and the ten year old son she shares with the rapper.
“He said that he was gonna have somebody come kill me. Watch what he does, and this is what he did,†she told reporters as she was released from a Long Island hospital on Friday. “He’s upset. If he cant have it, nobody can.â€
Miss Tomkins says that she heard someone enter the house at approximately 4am, just an hour prior to house fire.
“Informed this morning while filming a new motion picture on location in Louisiana, Curtis Jackson expressed deep concern over this fire at his property,†his rep said. “He is extremely thankful that everyone including his son, Marquise, escaped the burning house safely.
“He is confident that authorities will be conducting a thorough investigation of the incident and is eager to review their findings.â€

Why would 50 burn down the house that his soon is sleeping in this how said that she heard some one in the house at 4am and the house cought fire at 5am that dont make no since why didnt she call the cops when she heard that someone was in her house? i think she burned down the house because the judge order her to get out of the house by the end of june so i guess if she cant live there no one can this bitch is crazy a needs to get a job and get a life all she wants os some of that vitamin woater money but she cant lol
