The beleaguered R&B artist has shut down his Twitter account, a day after microblogging his butt off about Walmart and other big-box haters not stocking his new album.
Which he shouldn’t really have worried about, because Walmart is, in fact, carrying Graffiti. And apparently, displaying it prominently.
“We are surprised at the comments online,” read a statement released by the store today. “All Walmart stores nationwide have carried the CD since its release, including the Wallingford, [Conn.], store mentioned in the post. This store actually sold through its initial shipment over the weekend. The majority of our stores today are showing they do have copies available.”
Brown tweeted yesterday: “JUST WAS AT WALMART IN wallingford CT,844 north colony.. the didnt even have my album in the back… not on shelves, saw for myself…we talked to the managers and the didnt even know anything. wow!!! but they had Alicia Keys album ready for release for this tuesday comin…no disprespect to alicia at all.. just givin an example to whos album is loaded and ready to go next week.”
Yes, how dare the manager know all about the upcoming album release from 12-time Grammy winner Alicia Keys!
Anyway, earlier today, Brown signed off with this tweet: “I WANNA THANK MY FANS FOR ALL THE SUPPORT. I LOVE YALL. GOODBYE!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Ok, I was with him on putting the stores on blast for not carrying his album, but not he’s acting childish by closing down his account for his real fans to connect with him… This was a very silly and tactless move on his part. Twitter was helping you, but he had to delete the evidence where it was written, b/c now the stores have a right to black ball the album for slanderous commentary I’m sure. Now Him Putting Walmart on Blast, pls Walmart will sell records for the devil if they new they were going to make a profit. I dnt think Walmart is in the business to loose money. Christina needs to calm down & Transform back in to Chris, and Crawl up a new ladder on how to push his album.
I bet somebody in his camp told him to do that after he start putting addresses of stores on there. That’s how he ****ed up. Walmart know they lying. It was girls tweeting him all ova the place talkin about places where they got turned around by managers and then someone had to sneak to the back and get them a copy.
But at the end of the day, his album is selling, HARD. That was the main goal, folkz.

Rundown needs to get its ****in facts straight before postin shit! He didn’t even delete his damn account because he a spoiled brat. His camp was doin damage control when he spazzed out cuz bitch-ass Wal-mart wasn’t sellin his album! So after he went off on ‘em on his Twitter, his camp informed him that it would be best if he deleted his Twitter account. After like two hrs of of the back and forth shii, Chris gave in and deleted his Twitter. And that’s fact! Don’t ask how a nigga kno….

Damn, Chris. I had your back when you venting. I didn’t know you were naming names like that. That is just reckless. I saw Chris Brown’s Cd in Walmart on the day of release, but it was among other artists according to the first initial of the artist’s last name. Walmart doesn’t have a special section for NEW RELEASES like Target. Chris needs to promote his cd and people will start to pick up on the cd.
