Is Chris Brown a phony?
The word ‘phony’ is probably a little harsh to bestow upon someone who isn’t even old enough to legally attend many of the clubs he performs in; however, he does wear fake tattoos.
Wearing fake tattoos is something that should never been done, especially when you already have real ones.
It all began in Chris’ “With You” video that was shot in late October 2007 in Downtown, LA. There was a collective buzz around a new tattoo Mr. Brown was sporting on the right-side of his neck. The artwork was of a big star, fully-shaded in, with a handful of little stars surrounding it. Of course everyone wanted to know the meaning of the stars, but the Brown camp was as quiet as a church mouse on the subject.
Almost as soon as the clock hit midnight, bringing us all into 2008, rumors of Chris Brown and Rihanna being a couple started to circulate throughout the internet like Britney Spears photos. The public then later learned that, although neither party has come right out and said that they are together, the two R&B superstars got matching star tattoos-Chris’ behind his ear, and Rihanna on the back of her neck.
But when pictures of the tattoo that Chris got for his boo Rihanna surfaced, the tat that he showed the world in his “With You” had magically disappeared!!
Maybe the pictures on the internet showing his ‘Rihanna Tat’ were old, right?
However, when Lil’ Mama’s “Get Loose” premiered this February, which features Chris Brown on the chorus, Chris’ right-side of his neck remained bare!
What about this years Grammys?…yep, you guessed it, NO TATTOO!

Who wears fake tattoos over the age of 5?
This is a sad day in R&B music..hell, music in general.
