Oscar-winning actress and singer Jennifer Hudson helped positively identify the body of her young nephew today, hours after he was found with gunshot wounds in a sport-utility vehicle on Chicago’s West Side, authorities said.
An autopsy was scheduled to be done on the body of 7-year-old Julian King Tuesday at the Cook County medical examiner’s office, where Hudson and other relatives went to help identify the remains this afternoon.
A law enforcement source told the Tribune that the boy had been shot multiple times in the back of the white Chevrolet Suburban. The vehicle had been the subject of an intense search and Amber Alert issued on Friday after Hudson’s mother and brother were found shot and killed inside the family’s South Side home.

It’s a sad day to final this Hudson family nightmare. Our hearts go out to them and all we can pray for a little CHANGE in this crazy World we live in. We can’t imagine what J-Hudd is going through but she continues to remain strong for her family…

This Is very disturbing… How can a grown man take a childs life, matter of fact how can anyone take a childs life… Whatever it was that caused you to kill the adults had nothing to do with the child… that shpit is just unforgivable… whoever did this for whatever the reason may be, is a Done Deal!!!
I visit this site everyday and I’ve read plenty of crazy stories, but I don’t comment very often. This story, however, has hit me particularly hard. These murders seem especially cold-blooded. Killing adults is horrible enough, but to kill a child by shooting him and just leaving him in a car like that is disturbing. What’s even more disturbing is that shit like this happens everyday. The fact that there are heartless cowards that exist, like the killer(s), makes me angry and frustrated. People try to live good lives, and worthless human beings prey on us. As a Black man, I know that life is hard for our Black people, so I’ll be the first to understand that not all of us are able to survive on the right side of the law, BUT MURDERING CHILDREN, good families, or any innocent people in cold- blood is INEXCUSABLE and INEXPLICABLE. In addition, we do it to our own people. We kill and intimidate our own, whom are already dealing with enough oppression and hardship in our lives. My prayers and thoughts go out to the Hudson family. And my prayers are also filled with a desire for Justice for the Hudson family.

Man when I read this my body went numb for a min, bc I have a son. This soo sad wht type of animal would hurt one of Gods children. I wonder what happened that was that deep. These are 3 lives within one family. I hope that guy rots in jail. My heart goes out to the Hudson family. May God be with yo all.

This whole story is just terrible… how can someone kill a child, like come on now. This world is just getting more and more messed up everyday… It’s even more depressing that this story won’t even be talked about in a couple weeks from now, it will be “old news” and everyone will forget it and go about their business. People are messed up, and it’s only gonna get worse… I can’t imagine 20 years from now what life will be like, people will probably kill for sport by then. What kind of world have I brought my daughter into…
