The hip-hop mogul, via court documents filed on Tuesday (June 24) in Los Angeles, will have to pay $40,000 a month in child support to his ex-wife Kimora Lee Simmons.
That’s not it either, according to BallerStatus.com, the ex-couple have put their multi-million dollar mansion located in New Jersey on the market, and until it sells, he’s gonna maintain the up-keep, which amounts to $18,000 a month, payable to Kimora.
While Kimora maintains sole custody of the two children, Russell will get visitation rights. He will get his kids every eighth week from Saturday until the following Saturday when they are to be returned at 6:00 p.m., according to the documents, which will take place in Los Angeles, where Kimora resides. However, holidays, summers, and vacations, are also options.
Let’s hope Russell isn’t haunted by the words, “It’s cheaper to keep her.” Dang… what child needs 40K a month?

unlike our broke ass kids (famous ppl with money) can spend 40k in no problem….let me put it in broke man terms…..for us thats like spending 400 dollars. u can basically spend that in one store. but hey think broke and youll always be it…..lol

Celebrity wives, ex-wives, and baby mamas get on my nerves. 40K a month for child support??? That’s ridiculous considering that he has to pay child support plus whatever he spends on them when he spends time with them. It does not take 20K per kid a month to raise them. My mom barely made 20K a year and we made it through. Money makes people lose perspective. Why would Kimora need that much child support when she’s breaking the bank herself?
Have y’all seen the house Kimora stays with her children. To maintain that takes a grip. She has nannies and cooks and such to pay. This is the lifestyle Russell and her maintained now all of a sudden its wrong for her to get this money, probably less than what he spent on her monthly when they were together. 40,000 is nothing to this dude. He has probably already wrote the 480,000 check for the 1st year already. He’s probably upset that he has to pay it to her & not put that money in account for them. But I think that the judge could have been more lenient with the conditions of visitation with the girls. I mean come on “Supervised Visits”. I think that crap is absurd. Sounds like a lot because it is alot, thats more that some people make in a single year. But the Judge wouldnt have ordered it if he couldnt pay it. And weve seen their lifestyle 40,000 a month for those two girls is probably what they are used to spending. Russlell and Kimora Live very well, and so do the kids.
