Just like in her real life: Running away from the truth! America has these females “thinking” the lighter your skin the better off you’ll be. Sucks but it’s the truth… Kim should have never started doing that to herself…now she’s so obsessed she’s looking more and more like a Jackson! I just can’t take it… We need more role model & trying to get away from your etnicity is not going to do the trick! We have to find comfort in ourselves just as we are. These medical procedures go wrong all the time & it’s just not worth it. Most cases they were just fine before they started having work done…. I agree with Kels too. Its too easy now a days to just go change what you dont like about yourself but that leads to another and that leads to another then before you know it you dont even look like yourself or anybody in your family. I dont see why people would want foreign objects injected into their bodies anyways. And I dont know who agrees but I think black skin is the most beautiful skin of all. People need to embrace themselves and love them for who they are and not what they look like. Like my BFF said, Beauty is only skin deep but Ugly is right to the bone!!
I personally think that you should be what God created you to be… If God wanted Lil Kim to be light-skinned she would have been born that complexion. Black is beautiful baby no matter what complexion you are ya dig. Homegirl need to get it right because it is evident that she is going through an identity crisis and that’s a damn shame. I love Kim too. But she did go from the Cute Sista from around the way to a Little Asian lady. She looks different then the kim on her first album cover. That kim was beautiful. But she danced well. LOL

It’s not corrective surgery, it’s elective surgery, meaning she chooses to endure the risks of unnecessary procedures for her own reasons. If you’re not rocking rough and stuff with yur afro puffs, don’t hate her because she can afford it. But how is Lil’ Kim getting plastic surgery to embrace an “anglo esthetic” any different from the millions of black women in America relaxing their hair or hiding its true texture under scarves, weaves, and wigs? Ladies?
Yeah, she looks a bit scary and its obvious she is suffering from some type of identity disorder. She is “still” a very pretty woman; but she has detached from her roots and that is more scarier than anything else. Queen Latifah, MC Lyte, Salt AND Peppa, are examples of Black Female Hip Hop Artist who have enhanced their looks without “taking away” from what they look like as black women - instead they have embraced their features (despite Peppa’s nose job). I truly wish the best for Lil Kim and hope that she is happy and healthy. On a side note, SHE SHOULD NEVER EVER WEAR THAT SHADE OF PINK LIPSTICK/GLOSS.

*** The difference between the two is clear as day…. She’s having: PLASTIC SURGERY done which is PERMANENT. To mask whatever insecurities she may have withing herself. A weave/ wig or whatever is temporary. Removable…. feel me? Kim is literally risking her life & health every time she goes under the knife to correct something that had no problems to begin with…I’ve never heard of anyone dying from a weave or wig…& I don’t know if you heard that one story bout the girl with the bulletproof weave! (lmao) but hey it saved her life! hahaha Not saying that’s what weaves do but you damn sure aren’t placing yourself in any kinda risk by getting your hair done! C’mon now…. and to add to that, white girls & other NON-BLACK females also have weaves. It’s not just our african-american ladies!!
