Now to the serious issue at hand. I, for 1, don`t believe in a man resorting to violence when pertaining to a woman. We brothas should be “real” men and just walk away. I don`t know if there`s any other group that disrespects their women as dew we. From verbal abuse to physical we, as men, leave a lot to be desired. Is this an indictment of all brothas? Surely no. However, there`s enough of us who are guilty and that`s cause for concern.

Just walk away; it only takes a second. A second that may prevent a deadly situation. Black on black crime, domestic violence against our women, when will it end? When will we, as men, learn to be protectors of our women rather than abusers? When will we, as men, begin to respect our women as dew other groups? When will we, as men, realize that could be our mother, sister, grandmother, aunt being the subject of such violence?

This type of violence has to ceased so that we, as a people, can begin to heal and seek that glorious rebirth. Brothas what would your reaction be if you were to come upon your father abusing your mother? I dare to say that it would be a rumble for sure. And rightly so. Any man who commits this type of violence against a woman has already committed a crime as far as I`m concerned.

He`s forfeited his right to even be considered a man. How in the hell can we continue to abuse our women and then profess our love? The two have no fellowship. Any man who ascribes to this “sick” behaviour deserves a good ol` ass kicking in the worst way. Yeah, I said it and I don`t stutter. Be a man and just walk away. Show how big you can really be.
