ABC's 20/20 recently created a list containing 20 of both the "blackest" and "whitest" male/female names in America while conducting a test. This particular test was an experiment posting identical résumés with different names at the top to see who would snag the job based off of the first glance companies chose by looking at their names first. To nobody's surprise, the white names were looked at more than the black ones...
It's sad to know that those hiring were considering that they're passing over people with qualifications that meet their needs.
