It's over for Mr. Zimmerman!
The new Black Panther militia is offering $10,000 for the capture of George Zimmerman, the man responsible for the death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.
“An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth,” leader Mikhail Muhammad.
“If the government won’t do the job, we’ll do it,” Muhammad said, leading chants from over 5,000 that included “freedom or death” and “justice for Trayvon.”
Our nation is still at an uproar over the fact that justice has not yet been served. A 17-year-old boy loses his life in broad daylight by a racist maniac and nothing happens?
Nearly a month after Trayvon's death, President Obama took the stand and spoke to the nation:
“When I think about this boy, I think about my own kids,” Obama told reporters when asked about the case during a Rose Garden press conference.
“I think every parent in America should be able to understand why it is absolutely imperative to investigate every aspect of this and that everybody pulls together – federal, state and local – to figure out exactly how this tragedy happened,” he said.
